Nearly half of UK adults lack confidence when managing their finances. For Credit Karma, this presented both a challenge and an opportunity: how could we better educate members while strengthening engagement with our products and services?

The Money Minute was developed as an audience-led member education campaign that delivered personalised financial education directly to members' inboxes. The campaign aimed to build financial confidence, encourage product engagement and position Credit Karma as a trusted financial wellbeing partner.

Education is one of the most powerful forms of marketing when it’s designed to genuinely help people make better decisions.

This project reminded me that some of the most meaningful marketing isn't about selling a product – it's about helping people feel more confident and informed. By simplifying complex financial concepts and putting member needs first, we were able to create value for both the audience and the business.
